About the Holiday Shop program:
The Jim Mora Count On Me Family Foundation Holiday Shop is an annual program that brings holiday spirit to children hospitalized around the holidays. The Holiday Shop provides patients at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta the opportunity to “shop” for two holiday gifts, free of charge, for parents, siblings or other family members. Each patient, three or older, is escorted into the Shop by Foundation friends and able to choose gifts, write cards, and wrap gifts with assistance at the wrapping center within the shop, created by the Foundation. Patients under three years of age receive gift bags filled with items to keep them busy while in the hospital, and infants receive baby blankets to take home for the Holidays. In addition to the shop, the Foundation donates items to Children’s for their patient playrooms to keep the holiday spirit alive all year ‘round!
About the Foundation
The Jim Mora Count On Me Family Foundation, created in October 2005, is a 501(c)(3) organization which supports children in need, primarily in three target areas: children from low socio-economic backgrounds, mentally and physically-challenged children, and children at-risk. The Foundation, created by Head Coach Jim Mora and his wife, Shannon, affords children the opportunity to realize their potential and dreams by assisting organizations which help to create more stability in their lives, supporting advocacy for children, and supporting channels that empower children to have a voice and support their well-being. The Jim Mora Count On Me Family Foundation supports children in need in Georgia and Washington. The Count On Me Family Foundation has raised close to a million dollars for charitable children’s organizations over the past five years. For additional information on how to apply for a grant or to learn more about the Foundation, please visit the Foundation website at: www.countonmefoundation.org.

The Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Egleston campus is home to many young children with serious illnesses. During the holiday season, the Jim Mora Count On Me Family Foundation seeks to keep the spirit alive by giving patients the opportunity to shop for gifts for their families, right there at the hospital.
At the Holiday Shop, each child is able to select two items for their parents or guardians. Foundation and hospital volunteers assist them in wrapping their gifts with festive paper, bows, gift tags and writing cards.
In addition to the shop, the Foundation donates items to the hospital for their playrooms.

Count On Me Tailgates in the Zone with the Count On Me Family Foundation
The Jim Mora Count On Me Family Foundation “kicked off” the Count On Me Tailgates at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in September!
The Jim Mora Count On Me Family Foundation kicked off the first of several “Count On Me Tailgate Parties” for the 2010 football season in the ZONE at Children’s Healthcare at Scottish Rite. Close to 30 patients, and their families, participated in the tailgate party September 19th, watching football, eating pizza and popcorn, and having a great time! As usual, the dads and some of the older boys went into the theater room to watch the game, while many of the younger patients worked with friends from the Foundation and ChildLife Services to make crafts, paint signs, and play toss with mini footballs, and even play XBOX and playstation football games! The Count On Me Football Tailgate Party Program was created to bring the fun of tailgating and Sunday football games to patients unable to leave the hospital. Count On Me Tailgates take place from 1:00 – 4:00 PM every other Sunday at the Zone, through the end of the football season! Go TEAM!
For more information about how YOU can join the team and support the tailgates, please contact Terri at 404-556-3833.The Jim Mora Flag Football League (click here for full details)
