Vision

The Jim Mora Count On Me Family Foundation was created to support children in need, primarily in three target areas: children from low socio-economic backgrounds, mentally and/or physically challenged children and children at risk. The Foundation affords young individuals the opportunity to realize their potential and achieve their dreams. The organizations we assist and partner with provide stability in young people’s lives, support advocacy for children’s needs and offer channels that allow children to have a voice.

Mission 

The Jim Mora Count On Me Family Foundation strives to lend support to charities and children’s organization through monetary grants and increased community awareness, empowering organizations to help children improve their lives by:

* building and instilling confidence

* encouraging health, wellness and safety

* fostering learning opportunities 

* using the sport of football as a springboard to talk about life and life lessons. 

About Jim and Shannon Mora

Jim and Shannon were thrilled to form the Count On Me Family Foundation in October of 2005 as a realization of their mutual passion and dedication to help children. Shannon was involved with Special Olympics at an early age when she and her family cheered on her older sister Whittney at local competitions.

That early outreach got Shannon hooked and Jim was soon to join in the fun.

Since they have had the opportunity to live many places throughout their life together, Jim and Shannon recognized the need that is within every community, especially in regard to children. They were also amazed and appreciative of the power of people coming together for a common goal of good. Their aspiration to give back with a powerful and meaningful platform culminated in the creation of the Jim Mora Count On Me Family Foundation.

The Foundation raises funds and awareness to support children’s charities and organizations whose mission aligns with theirs, giving children the opportunity to realize their potential and achieve their dreams.
